Welcome to a brand new year, #GooseGang! As we step into the year 2024, we are thrilled to bring you the very first monthly update of the year.

GooseFX remains committed to its mission of providing you with a complete DeFi experience on Solana. Our journey is guided by a vision of simplifying decentralized finance, making it accessible to all with a community first approach and we couldn't be more excited to share our progress and achievements with you through this blog.

GooseFX SSL (Single Sided Liquidity) Pools

We took a significant leap forward by putting the spotlight on our Single Sided Liquidity Pools.

• SSL Pools allows you to participate in liquidity pools with just one token, eliminating the need for complex token pairs. This means you can now deposit a single asset and earn yield effortlessly.

In response to our community's question: "When more volume?" We are thrilled to unveil some massive upgrades specifically designed to elevate your experience with GooseFX SSL (Single Sided Liquidity)

• Our algorithm is the cornerstone of AMMs and single-sided liquidity pools. It's not just about crunching numbers; it's about ensuring swappers and liquidity providers have access to the best rates with unmatched speed and unwavering reliability.
• Previously, our response time stood at 1ms, but we understood that this needed to change. To tackle this challenge head-on, we embarked on a radical overhaul. Our journey began with the BPF loader, a critical component in the Solana ecosystem. By optimizing the quote instruction (ix), we achieved a remarkable reduction of 800µs in response time. This optimization was just the beginning of a series of victories.
• Our ongoing audit with Ottersec and the need for downtime with our integration partners are all part of our commitment to ensuring the safety of your assets. This may result in the continued trend of lower volumes for the next 1-2 weeks, but rest assured, this measured approach is aimed at long-lasting dominance in the AMM markets.
• We understand that single-sided pools are a revolutionary improvement for liquidity providers and AMMs, and we're committed to making this experience as seamless as possible. While it's a complex challenge, your patience and support have been invaluable as we navigate the best path to scalability..

At GooseFX, we're dedicated to shipping updates and improvements as swiftly as possible. Our ultimate goal is to become the leading Solana DEX, and your continued support and engagement are what drive us forward.

GooseFX Perps DEX

Our Perps DEX isn't just your ordinary exchange; it's designed based on a Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) model. This approach prioritizes precision and flexibility, ensuring the best rates while trading.

On 1st January 2024, we achieved a significant milestone by crossing over $1.5 Million in trading volume on our Perps DEX.

In response to the community's demand we have introduced Trader Profiles! Now easily track Deposits, funding, and trade history! all within one dashboard.

Stay tuned for more updates as we bring in points for our early perps traders on GooseFX.

A Fresh Face for GooseFX

Our strategic shift towards DeFi, we have also refreshed the GooseFX website. This redesign is more than just a visual overhaul; it is a reflection of our core values and goals. Our aim is to provide you with a user-friendly and transparent interface that matches the reliability, friendliness, and transparency that define GooseFX.

Phasing out our NFT Aggregator

After careful consideration, we're phasing out our NFT Aggregator to concentrate solely on our DeFi offerings, SSL pools and Perps DEX and becoming your Solana DeFi destination.

What does this mean for you?

We understand that some of our community members may have NFT assets within our ecosystem. To ensure a seamless transition, we have initiated a process that allows users to de-list or sell their NFTs from our Auction House contract.
